School Nurse Necessities for All!

Help me give my students access to clean clothing in various sizes to accommodate our diverse student body. I am also requesting items to help keep the medical room stocked with necessities.

My Project

My project will help to make a difference in the way the school's medical room functions. These supplies will help make sure the nurse's office can offer well-rounded care, as well as function as smoothly and efficiently as possible for the needs of this school.

The necessities I am requesting will ensure this office is a place all students feel welcome and secure coming for any kind of help they may need.

The Dial antibacterial soap will be used to wash and clean the cuts and scrapes students so often come to me with, therefore reducing the risk of infection. The clothing I am requesting is for students who come in after having accidents, those who come in with ripped or dirty clothes, and those who get sick and need a clean change. I am requesting some cases of water to be able to provide fluids for sick students in my office, juice to be given during a low blood sugar emergency, and Ziploc bags to help keep the drawer full of student medications separated and organized. The role of a school nurse is to ensure the health and well-being of children while in school. We are here to make sure kids can safely stay in class and continue their education, while also seeing to their specific medical needs.
