This activity will involve our school-wide mail program. Until now, our students have used paper bags for the different classroom mailboxes. I however, wish to upgrade to wall mounted mailboxes for the entire school. This will add to the program and the aesthetic value of the school climate. When the students see the effort to make our Wee Deliver program more realistic, this will help to encourage our students to write more. Writing has a great impact on state test scores. With practice we gain better use of all skills and this is true of writing. The more the students write, the better they become. Our entire school has embraced this writing program from kindergarten to fifth grade along with the faculty and staff of the school.
