My Students

My current class (2021-2022) is unique. They battle food deserts, poverty, hunger, lack of transportation, and the erosion of the nuclear family. Through it all, they still come to school ready to learn and try to improve themselves. The impacts of their environment have caused hurdles in their education, but the district and the school go day by day trying to mitigate the effects. Sometimes, it is not enough.

Donors like you come in and fill the gaps the school and district are not able to meet and amplify the learning of the teacher.

In this area, there are many scholars who need a little bit more resources to be a better scholar. Everyday is a struggle in this area, but let us take one less hurdle away from the students' families. Let’s amplify their school supplies and witness the impact of learning materials that quantify their learning.

My Project

Big time Laminator machines maintenance is financially taxing and school districts all around the world had to come up with what is getting cut from the budget. Unfortunately, our laminator budget took a hit and we have had to rely on past lamination that is in need to be retired.

A Laminator machine can make classroom items on paper last for years to come.

Imagine you need a student to practice mastering how to write letters and numbers. A laminated paper can give the students needed practice time and aid in the motor skill to write desired skill on paper and pencil.

Paper can be crushed and wrinkled. A laminated paper can hold its form and be used again. For base-ten blocks practice, students can connect the base-ten block picture to its correlating number. This can be done in several instances and no worries over the state of the paper have to be conjured as the laminated paper can hold.
