This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the most special kids in the world! They work so hard in class, help each other, and they are always smiling which makes me very happy!

They are learning two languages at the same time!

Portuguese and English! Isn't that awesome!? They have to learn how to write, read and speak in the two languages, and they are doing a very good job at this! I'm so proud! I'm a Portuguese teacher and I am in charge of teaching Math, Social Studies and Science too!

My Project

I am requesting art supplies, Math manipulates, fun seating, games and a lot more! These materials will help me bring back the fun and joy of teaching and learning in person! Last year, students missed a lot of the fun games and interactions that only a well equipped classroom environment can offer! I'm so glad to be able to provide rich Math learning experiences with new games and counters.

My students will also be able to develop their creativity and emotional intelligence using the watercolor paint and canvas.

Other materials such as headphones, markers, whiteboards are used a lot when we combine online and in person learning.
