My students are between the ages of 3 and 4 years old. This is the first time for many of them, to be in a school setting. When there is no air conditioner, and they are expected to follow directions and take care of themselves, it is beyond their ability to do so.
We desperately need an air conditioner.
The weather is getting warmer. Our Classroom environment is getting uncomfortable. There’s very little airflow and even with all the windows open, the classroom doesn’t feel comfortable and safe. Once it starts getting hotter, it’s very hard to keep students attention on the lesson. We don’t finish school until June 27th. My students deserve to feel comfortable and breathe cool air when needed.
