This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Outdoor Club at our school is looking to begin an outdoor garden project to support students learning around outdoor activities that can benefit their community, improve their science knowledge, and create opportunities for engineering. This school garden will further support students in all science classes so that they develop gardening skills to support their community to grow healthy foods and live a healthy lifestyle. The tool set, aqua garden, garden stand, watering can, gloves, and other items requested will support us in our learning about gardening and will help educate students about healthy foods. We will plant, create a rock garden, build the garden, and have a school farmers market. We cannot wait to begin!
