Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After the hurricane, many of our students lost so much or had their families affected in some what or another. At our school we want to build a community environment where students feel safe and cared for daily at school.

This project will help fund school-wide experiences for the students to help build school community in an fun and exciting way by giving students the chance to earn a Glow Party with glow lights and glow sticks, a glow party station to use instant camera picture refills to take picture keepsakes, and a plinko game to play at the party, and Expedition Dig with small sand pools, gemstones and geods, and sharks teeth to find and participate in a Connect 4 School Tournament with a full school-wide bracket chart and Connect 4 games that students can play with other students and staff.

We see so often how outside factors can affect the emotions of our students. This project will help bring fun experiences to students to help alleviate some of the outside stressors from their home environments.
