Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As I start my career, I am faced with the pressing need for supplies, furniture, books, and learning incentives to enhance my effectiveness in supporting our students. With limited resources, these essential elements are crucial for creating a nurturing environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
In our school counseling office, a well-stocked bookcase offers a treasure trove of resources, providing students with literature that inspires, educates, and offers solace.
Alongside, sensory toys provide a comforting outlet for emotional expression, promoting relaxation and mindfulness during counseling sessions. Together, these tools create a safe and supportive space where students can explore their feelings, build resilience, and embark on a journey of self-discovery
