Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Black paper makes projects stand out. Using dry line liquid paper on the black paper creates dynamic designs and emphasizes words. My students will be writing words and still honoring our school of the arts. In addition, we will be using plastic bags to grow beans in the window. My children will observe how a plant grows through visuals. These materials tie writing, art, and science together in our classroom.

And those plastic bags will give us a clear view of what is happening to seeds as they grow. We will keep journals of the growth of the plants, incorporating writing and art into science. These basic materials will help me to teach the curriculum to my students. They have not had many of the experiences other children their age have had by this time. These resources will help me to help them learn and catch up.
