School-Based Therapy Office Needs a Boost!

My Project

Nurture Sensory-&-Emotional Safety in Play Therapy School-Based Office

I am a licensed therapist working in a Pre-K to 5th grade school serving children from various linguistic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds in Aurora, CO - one of the most diverse city in the US!

At times, I ran into barriers with young clients because my office was not equipped with materials/tools that the individual child/student needed, i.e., high-protein snacks, sensory items, a tool to help them rock and move safely while processing their overwhelming emotions, and a paper organizer. The materials in this list will help my young clients tremendously to process their past trauma, or present challenging feelings, and reach their fuller/fullest potential!
