School Attendance Matters!

Help me give my students fun incentives to improve their daily school attendance and therefore their academic outcomes.

My Project

My goal with this project is to help improve our school wide daily attendance. Our school attendance team has put together positive supports for our students to help improve their attendance in school. Students can earn prizes for having excellent and/or improved school attendance. Using attendance data, we target students with positive strategies to help improve and maintain regular attendance.

Students who have regular school attendance have much higher academic outcomes than students who do not have regular attendance.

Attendance matters: you can't learn if you aren't at school. My school is looking for more ways to improve our attendance.

The incentives requested will be used to motivate our students to come to school and to reward those who demonstrate excellent attendance and/or improved attendance. My school will use highly motivating prizes such as fidgets, toys, school supplies, and more to encourage hands on activities and as incentives to help improve students' attendance, and by doing so, their academic outcomes.

By providing these incentives, our students will be more excited to reach their attendance goals. Our goal is always to provide a welcoming space for our students and continue motivating them to attend school every day. Our students are becoming more and more aware of the connection between great attendance and academic success.
