My Project

Scholastic News magazine is an excellent way for students to read engaging articles about current events. Students get so excited to read and hold their magazine. They can't wait to take them home to share with their families.

Seeing this love of reading grow in students is one of the many reasons I love teaching!

I love how Scholastic News connects the two in a world that is so much run on technology.

Students look forward to reading their magazine and don't realize they are learning and comprehending! Scholastic News has created many engaging activities as extensions of the magazine, so the students aren't just getting a magazine. They are getting hours of activities that promote learning.
