My Project
My students will greatly appreciate the opportunity to receive these high-quality resources as learning tools in the classroom. As an added bonus they get to take them home! This increases their access to reading materials and ensures grade-level text for the coming summer months. Students who read during the summer have a greater chance of maintaining their learning and reading levels.
One of my teaching goals is to ensure students have access to books and reading materials 365 days a year.
This project will allow me to not only enrich instruction in class because they feature an engaging online component, but will also allow students to continue learning at home with siblings and parents.
My students love non-fiction and would love to have an engaging way to read and learn! My students will use the Scholastic magazines to engage in our Science and Social Studies curriculum.
