Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My new students will likely be avid readers! Between our visits to the school library every two weeks and browsing for books in our classroom library, our students will have the opportunity to read a variety of fiction books.
It would be great to provide them with high-quality sources of informational text on timely topics that will instantly engage them!
That's where subscriptions to Scholastic News and Science Spin come in. Over the course of the school year, students will receive their very own copy of twenty different Scholastic News issues. Age-appropriate articles will describe current events not only in our country but also around the world. Science Spin will highlight science, technology, and engineering topics relevant to children.
I can't wait to help my students hone their skills to read and comprehend informational text! Please support our classroom with a subscription to Scholastic News.
