This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Scholastic News incorporates reading and writing activities. In addition, it includes a technology portion which is highly engaging for my students. Scholastic News makes learning about social studies fun, and a subject that my students look forward to.

A Scholastic News magazine subscription will keep my students up to date with current events, while also exploring the history of the world and Science too!

They loved it this year, and we played Jeopardy at the end of each week to review to content! Such great articles and the kids loved reading and writing!
