My Project

We love to listen to stories and be together as a whole group, but it can be a challenge to sit quietly. This project aims to provide each student with his or her own weekly Scholastic Let's Find Out! and Science Spin magazines to hold as we read together! No more fighting or waiting to take a turn. These magazines can also be accessed online in students' homes. The digital content provides supplemental informational videos about each weekly topic, games, and music!

Learning to enjoy books is a critical early childhood skill that will better prepare our students to understand early reading skills.

We can develop phonemic awareness, learn the direction of print, identify letters, explore science, math, and social-emotional concepts, and learn to work cooperatively during a lesson when we're all together.
