Scholastic Magazines To Deepen Our Love of Learning!
Help me give my students some relevant math and literature for our explorations into learning! DynoMath will provide relatable, real-life math problems and StoryWorks will provide engaging stories that will develop a love for reading!
My students have a curiosity and creativity, and I am challenged every day to guide them to great things. Their sky has no limit, and their potential is immense. I am so fortunate to be able to witness (and hopefully positively influence) their growth each and every day!
Today's 21st century learning involves creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
In order to provide opportunities for students to excel and meet the challenges of the future, they need a classroom environment that allows them to interact and explore their world. Students should not merely recite facts; computers can do that. Students need to learn to ask questions, make mistakes, share their research and ideas, and persevere.
My Project
I have Scholastic Magazines from a few years ago that are amazing, and I am able to reuse them often to provide engaging stories and relevant math problems for my students. I am requesting Dyno Math and Story Works so I can provide more contemporary and current magazines for my students. The articles and problems will be more relatable if they are current. I have used both magazines in the past and I am confident that they will increase engagement and learning opportunities for my students!
Scholastic Magazines provide students with an opportunity to dig deeper into their learning and develop a greater understanding of the topics they are studying.
I can't wait to share these great magazines with my students! They will be so excited for new magazines that are just for them and for the students in the years to follow.
