My Project
Scholastic News is an exceptional weekly magazine that engages students, builds nonfiction-reading skills, and increases content-area knowledge. Students can get the latest "news for kids, by kids" from the Scholastic Kids Press.
Scholastic Magazines cover core subjects in an engaging age-appropriate and cross-curricular way for grades PreK-12, helping to support instruction and encourage students to make real-world connections across disciplines.
The magazines often contain well-crafted articles and in-depth reporting. Reading them regularly can enhance vocabulary and improve reading comprehension skills. This improved literacy is invaluable to students, many of whom are multi-language learners.
DonorsChoose is the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
As a teacher-founded nonprofit, we're trusted by thousands of teachers and supporters across the country. This classroom request for funding was created by Mrs. Carter and reviewed by the DonorsChoose team.
