My Project

I work with an amazing group of middle school students with special needs, including learning disabilities and Autism. My students are thoughtful, and motivated to learn, but the virtual curriculum is challenging for them. They learn differently than other kids and need extra support.

Scholastic Action Magazine offers engaging and age-appropriate content tailored specifically for older students.

Each issue of the magazine features a diverse range of articles, stories, and non-fiction pieces, carefully curated to align with curriculum standards and promote literacy skills.

Access to Scholastic Action Magazine will encourage my students to develop strong literacy skills and a love for reading by providing them with high-interest reading materials. The thought-provoking articles and activities in Scholastic Action Magazine will stimulate my students' critical thinking skills as they analyze information, evaluate arguments, and form opinions on a variety of topics.
