My Project
I am seeking your support to provide my scholars with book crates for their graphic novels that enhance their reading skills and critical thinking, as well as photo storage boxes for their small group activities. These items will serve as a way for my students to learn about organization, teamwork, and advocating for their learning. My scholars come from diverse backgrounds and cultures and face unique challenges, but they are a remarkable group with endless potential.
With the incorporation of small group center work and graphic novels into the curriculum, I have generated excitement and enthusiasm around reading and learning overall.
I have provided our students with books they can relate to, and enjoy and transformed reading from a chore into a pleasure. We are now seeking storage for our classroom library and small group area. We have received generous amounts of resources for our learning community, and now my scholars want to organize it so they will have access to it when needed. Some of my scholars lack organizational skills so with this project I hope that they will learn these necessary skills that will be needed in the future, and foster teamwork and responsibility within our learning community. Your generosity will not only impact their academic journeys but also equip them with the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
