I proudly teach kindergarten through fifth grade at a Title I school in Grand Prairie, Texas. Our school is committed to putting scholars first and meeting them where they are academically and emotionally while building relationships with them. Many of the offerings that we have for our scholars such as college visits, clubs, and field trips provide them with opportunities they have not previously experienced or been afforded.
I believe that working with children allows me the opportunity to make a major impact in their lives and help them be successful in the real world.
Every day is a teachable moment for me and my students.
Scholars will utilize the Cricut machine to help them create art as well as shirts for accomplishments (awards) and events. This will also allow me to be able to use this machine for any of the classroom needs for events, activities and everyday needs.
A Cricut machine will encourage the excitement of creativity in the classroom and the environment of the campus all around.
At our school, we promote college attendance and exposure to offerings such as scholarships and campus trips. By having access to this machine, scholars would be able to create college-focused activities, shirts, apparel, and so much more.
