This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My young scholars are super enthusiastic about reading each year and so are their parents.

Kindergarten is where it all starts.

Our school values the use of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) lessons incorporated with reading.

I want to have a classroom setup where STEAM projects run most of my curriculum. The setup of the classroom is very important to their engagement and success. We have just been designated as a Title I school. With the help of our donors, no project is too small

My Project

These stools will be part of my flexible seating plan. Students that have options are better engaged and have better social development skills. The stools will give students the opportunity to be in a different environment, it will provided part of their choice. It will provide movement within the classroom. Students at such a young age should not be stationary for long periods of time. They should move and change in between lessons. This movement and choice provided by flexible seating, will give them a better chance at retaining information and being successful scholars. Your help will help successful scholars thrive!
