My Project
My students are curious, innovative, and eager to solve real-world problems through hands-on learning. They are part of a dynamic robotics and engineering program where they tackle challenges with creativity, teamwork, and a passion for STEM. Many of my students come from underserved backgrounds, yet their determination to learn and succeed shines through in every project they undertake.
The Afinia Einstar Handheld 3D Scanner will open new doors for them by providing cutting-edge technology that enhances their learning experience.
With this scanner, my students will gain the ability to capture precise, real-world objects and translate them into digital 3D models. This hands-on, project-based approach will help them develop critical skills in engineering, design, and problem-solving. From prototyping innovative solutions to creating custom parts for robotics, this tool will empower them to turn their ideas into reality.
Our goal is to use the 3D scanner to bridge the gap between imagination and application. Students will learn how this technology is used in fields like manufacturing, healthcare, and game design, making their education more relevant to real-world careers. This project also fosters collaboration and critical thinking, as students work together to scan, analyze, and design solutions for complex challenges.
What makes my students special is their resilience and their drive to embrace opportunities. They thrive on exploring new technologies and pushing their limits, even in the face of limited resources.
