Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique perspectives and experiences to the learning environment. They are curious, motivated, and eager to understand the world around them. Teaching 7th grade science, I find that classroom rewards effectively encourage participation, effort, grit, and recognition of a job well done. These rewards motivate my students daily, fostering growth and a strong work ethic. They look forward to these opportunities, making learning about the scientific world enjoyable and engaging. By celebrating their efforts, I help them stay enthusiastic and committed to their education.
