My students are bright, enthusiastic, inner-city historians. We work every year to participate in National History Day. We compete on a school, city and state level making history fair projects. However, we are very short on technical equipment and need a computer printer with a scanner. If we had this type of printer we would be able to Scan materials out of books and original primary source materials used in displays for history fair projects. I am the 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher. I work with 90 students to produce at least 40 display boards for our local fair. This printer would really help the children to create more powerful projects and maybe this year we'll be able to fulfill my dream of making it all the way to Washington D.C. for the National History Day Compitition!
