This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
I teach Visual Arts I-IV in a rural area high school with students ranging from 9th through 12th grades. My class is the only Visual Arts class in the school servicing approximately 150 students enrolled in the class over 7 periods.
The students always ask could they scan their work into the computer to manipulate it but there are only certain days we can use the library's scanner. It gets very frustrating not being able to provide for the students when needed.
The all-in-one scanner would assist the students by being able to scan a picture into the computer for further creativity. The students will be able to assist the different departments in the school as well, such as the school yearbook or newspaper.
Your generous assistance would make a difference in the lives of my students by providing them with the technology our class is missing.
