Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are taking Poetry in America, a college course through Arizona State University for 3 college credits while earning an English credit for High School. One of the requirements is students annotate their poems, scan them and upload them to Canvas. However, at my school cell phones are collected in the morning and so scanning and uploading the student annotations has become a difficulty.

An iPad with a keyboard and Apple Pencil would provide the tool necessary to scan student work and then email it to them so they can then upload the work to their account, and this would also enable me to provide real time feedback while also modeling for the class.

This would ensure all students are able to complete course assignments and tasks in a timely manner.
