My Students
We are on a traditional calendar schedule. I teach at a public school in Utah. Students take pride in their work in and out of the classroom. My students come from a wide range of economic and social backgrounds. They also have a wide range of parental support at home. Most students walk or are driven to school. We do not have bus transportation to our school. Our school has a wide range of scholastic achievement too. We have classrooms that service the needs of intellectually challenged and enhanced scholastic ability too. I teach in a general education classroom.
My Project
This scanning printer will increase communication between home and school. I will be able to send make up work and missed assignments home via email to parents. Students will be able to get one on one help at home even if they "forgot" to take home their work because I can send the assignment straight to the parent via email.
I will reduce time spent out of class by using the printer in my classroom.
I won't need to run off one more copy in the teacher work room for a student who misplaced their original copy. I can print off assignments right in my room for those students who might need a little more practice on a skill in a small group instruction.
