My Students
My students are amazing, marvelous, and challenging on many levels. Our new reality of virtual learning comes with its own set of advantages and challenges and my sholars are rising to the challenge.
It is a journey to discover how best to serve every single one of my students and get them ready for college and for life, and I am enjoying the ride.
Our school is a Title I school in Atlanta where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of our students are facing many socioeconomic challenges that hinder their academic success. As I observe them via the lens of our Zoom sessions, enthused in a lesson, I regain my conviction that a future is possible and achievable for all my students.
My Project
My students are very tactile students and are at times a little lost in our new virtual reality. The Docu camera will bring to life opportunities to share things that are otherwise difficult to share.
As a class, we will be able to scan, to share, and to use drawings, documents, books, materials and ideas.
The scholars will have the opportunity to interact with each other with the use of materials that are shared.
There is no need to wait to create a document online before sharing. We can immediately scan and share and use without delay.
