My Students
The students that I have the pleasure of teaching are really enthusiastic about technology. They are eager to embark on a path that will improve their opportunity for success! My students are engaged in a variety of extra curricular activities. We believe in teaching the whole person. Our students are eager to work together to collaborate and learn from each other. The student community exhibits cohesiveness and teamwork. Some students have earned Technology certifications already and more students are signing up everyday. Our students love everything that teenagers love: food, phones, and computers!
My Project
The materials that I have ordered are motherboards, power supplies, and processors. My students will use these supplies to build a fully functional operating personal computer. The students are taking a computer engineering course with an opportunity to become certified in CompTIA IT Fundamentals. This certification will prove to prospective employers that students are knowledgeable about Technology and can build computers. This certification can forever change the trajectory of students lives by increasing their job opportunities. With this certification, students can earn an internship or even a job in this field before they graduate. Not only their school life, but their professional life can be sparked with this project!
