My Students

My students have unique learning styles and triggers that can interfere with their learning. As an Intervention classroom we are flexible to fit the needs of each student.

My students are working below grade level, their pacing is significantly slower than that of their peers, and yet they still come in every day with a positive attitude, and ready to learn.

They work hard and do well when we are able to work in small groups.

We are considered a high poverty school where almost half of the student population is receiving free or reduced-priced breakfast/lunches. We also participate in the weekend backpack program that provides families in need with food.

My Project

My students will practice their reading skills using the Chromebook while learning to navigate through different websites. They will learn how to manage time limits and enrich their math skills.

By donating to our project the students will be able to work independently at their level and at their pace without the anxiety of being "behind" their friends.

They will use the headphones with the Chromebook to use their voice during writing activities.

Introducing students to Chromebooks at the elementary level is the pathway to future learning. We are building skills that students will continue to develop through out their school career.
