My Project

This saxophone will give my students access to an instrument that is in high demand. The BetterSax Alto is a high quality instrument at an affordable price. Many of my students are interested in learning how to play saxophone. As a saxophonist who grew up wanting to play saxophone because it was the "cool" instrument I definitely can relate to their desire for the instrument!

One of my long-term goals at RCA is to have the right instrumentation to create a big band jazz ensemble.

Having an Alto saxophone will get me much closer to that end goal. My students have come a long way since starting our small jazz combo at the beginning of this school year. We've performed at open houses, dean's brunches, parent events, school assemblies, and an upcoming end of year concert.
