Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school is located in a low socioeconomic area and most of our scholars face challenges in their day to day life and I want them to be able to come into my classroom feeling loved, supported, and encouraged.

I am requesting seating for my classroom.

The stools I have now are falling over and broken. These scholars deserve to have a fun safe place to sit when in small groups and when going to the calm down corner to take a deep breath or read a book.

My scholars are so amazing and come in everyday ready to work hard and learn. However, some days are more difficult than others and every one deserves a "pick me up" snack if we can provide it to them. I appreciate it so much and so do my scholars.
