Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love building with LEGO. We try to incorporate what we are learning into their very creative projects.

In this project, we are requesting a wide variety of LEGO houses for students to build their ideal environmental living space.

These houses will be used to provide students with the necessary materials to construct a place that lowers our carbon footprint. We will use these materials in our after school club to not only build with friends, but learn ways to make our world a better place.

The LEGO creations will provide students with the opportunity to construct a miniature house using LEGO bricks. This house will feature bins for sorting different types of recyclable materials, including paper, plastic, glass, and metal. The house will also include solar panels and other energy saving ways that we discover through research. This interactive project will focus on recycling awareness, waste reduction strategies, and the environmental benefits of sustainable practices.
