This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Each child in our classroom is unique and they are all learning to love learning! We want to instill good learning habits in every single student. The best way to do this is to fill the classroom with exciting and high interest materials. These materials will help keep us organized all year long!
We cannot wait to see our students faces light up when they see all their brand new, colorful book baggies!
Help us make learning fun while also helping the environment!
My Project
We have been learning about all of the ways we can help the environment. Then we realized, uh-oh, our plastic book baggies are constantly ripping so we have to throw them out. What a waste!
We asked ourselves this question: how can we easily store and tote our books, without harming our precious planet?
After conducting some research we found out that we could buy canvas book baggies. This way we can still store and tote our books without having to worry if the bags are going to rip. We also won’t have to replace them as often and it will help us keep our books organized.
