Help me give my students materials to make learning more engaging and save money and paper by decreasing the number of copies of paper needed with Write and Wipe Pocket Charts and more.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach third grade in the northwest side of Las Vegas, NV. Our school is Title 1 and provides 100% of our students with free breakfast and lunch. My classroom consists of very diverse backgrounds and family types. Along with a high population of English language learners, our school resides in a transient area. I would love to provide my students with an inviting and engaging environment. A place where they feel safe and excited to come, a place where they can put their home life problems aside and focus on learning and friendship.
My Project
Save time and paper! The materials I chose, for my students, are to help create an engaging learning environment during math and writing. At the same time, I will need to use less paper and make fewer copies.
The erasable pouches will be used to practice math facts and other math activities.
By using the erasable pouches, I will not have to make copies over and over.
Other fun and environmentally-responsible items are the white erase boards with math tools conveniently printed on them, fraction puzzles and Writing Boxes. All in all, if funded these items I will help save paper and save kids from boredom!
