This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My high school students will explore the impact that fast fashion has on the environment. The fashion industry, particularly fast fashion, has faced increasing scrutiny due to its environmental impact. This project aims to address this issue by proposing a sustainable approach to fast fashion, balancing consumer demand with environmental responsibility.

My students will develop educational campaigns to raise awareness about the environmental impact of fast fashion.

They will use chart paper, markers, paint and colored pencils to create these posters. Students will research companies that support eco-friendly production processes and material suppliers.
