My students are explorers and are always asking questions to further their education. They enter the classroom each morning ready and excited to learn. Our school serves students in grades K-5 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment.
My students inspire me everyday to become a better teacher.
I want to provide them with the best educational experience that I can. It is also my goal to empower and provide hands on activities during activities. My students love to do activities through technology resources. I want to allow them more opportunities to create projects through iMovie, read on Kindles, and create PowerPoint presentations.
My Project
Year after year, I have seen student toss old notebooks into the recycling and trash bin at the end of the school year. Many times, these notebooks have pages that are usable. I am hoping to make an investment by introducing a Kindle and reusable notebooks that can be used in my class this year and the years to come.
These reusable notebooks have a QR code that can be uploaded to student accounts.
When students are done with a page they can erase the page and start fresh. This will also help to cut down school supply costs in the fall. These notebooks can be a great way to differentiate instruction and to share student work with families electronically.
