My Students

I teach in a district where many students come from low income homes. Some students do not have all the materials and supplies they need to be successful in school, so DonorsChoose makes things easier for these little learners to have the opportunity and resources to aim for the sky!

My students are amazing young minds eager to learn and strive for the best!

These curious kids love to be challenged and engaged in current events, as well as learning from past experiences. Third grade is the year where their academic growth is prime.

My Project

All students need the chance to succeed...and that can be hard to do with the same 'ol boring textbooks! Storyworks Jr. allows students to explore and engage in a fun, upbeat way with their all-inclusive resources that hook little minds! The stories are age appropriate and fun, helping curious 3rd graders expand their imagination all while becoming life long learners.

Storyworks Jr allows educators to differentiate their approach to teaching ELA, along with incorporating Science and Social Studies topics, ensuring that all students are learning to the best of their ability.

This magazine offers resources that correlate with the Ohio Learning Standards that schools are to be teaching. It covers topics and learning formats that will increase students' academic ability, helping prepare them for the state tests they are required to pass.
