Save Our Stories: Book Repair Supplies Restock

Help me give my students books that will last forever! For many of my students, the school library is their only resource. Help me repair damaged books, so we can extend the life of the well-loved library books.

My Project

Our school library is the hub of learning for students of all ages, from eager kindergarteners just discovering the joy of reading to confident fifth graders diving into more challenging texts. The library provides access to stories, information, and resources that inspire curiosity and support academic growth.

With hundreds of students browsing, borrowing, and returning books daily, wear and tear is inevitable.

Torn pages, broken spines, and peeling covers are common issues that limit the availability of these valuable resources.

I am requesting essential book repair supplies to help our collection. These supplies include book spine tape, protective covers, page mending tape, and other tools necessary for restoring damaged books. With these materials, I can ensure our books remain in circulation for years to come.

Repairing our books will allow more students to access the stories and knowledge they need to succeed. A well-maintained library not only provides resources but also fosters a love of reading and respect for shared materials.

By funding this project, you’re helping to sustain a library that serves a lower-income community. A significant number of my students do not have access to books outside of school. Our library is the cornerstone of learning, creativity, and discovery for our entire school community. Thank you for helping us save our stories and nurture lifelong readers!
