This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have identified a classroom space at our school to be a soft landing pad and solution-focused space for students in crisis or who need a break from their classroom environment. We plan to have books, art supplies, soft places to lie down, and soothing music to give our students a calm space.

We all need breaks from time to time, and the wonderful items in this project will show our children that they are cherished and deserve good things even in their hardest moments.
