This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager learners and they learn best with hands-on materials. The Reduce and Reuse Recycling Center Playset will be used in our climate and environment thematic unit. This center will give my students an opportunity to explore different ways of protecting our environment. They can discuss the different ways they can reduce, reuse and recycle to protect planet Earth.

I want them to learn about different ways they can take care of their environment at an early age to encourage their love for mother nature.

By introducing them to literature that promotes climate and environmental awareness, the Earth books, they will naturally want to take care of our planet.
