Save Our Noses

Help me give my students Kleenex tissues to provide comfort to their little noses during allergy and Cold and Flu seasons, and to help prevent the spread of germs.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

While we may not get snow very often in our part of the country, we do get 'yellow snow!' Pollen is everywhere, and if you aren't sniffling yet, well, just wait a few days. Your turn is coming. My sweet students have been coming to music class the past few month with colds and the sniffles, and within moments, their hands go up requesting tissues.

When you feel miserable because of all of your allergy or cold symptoms, the last thing you want to add is a red nose from rough facial tissue, which is why I am requesting the ever so soft Kleenex brand tissues.

Being able to provide this little bit of comfort for my students helps them feel better about being at school while under the weather, and prevents those sore noses as well as the spread of germs.
