This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first year teacher working in a low-income school, supplies are few and far between. Many students come to me without even a backpack let alone notebooks or pencils. Some even come to me hungry because they have nothing at home. I want to give them the tools they need to find success in life and to help prepare them for that, I need your help with school supplies and snacks. It takes a village to raise a child and these children need a supportive environment. In order to lead them to success, they will need a little extra help.
