Save Future Engineers from Arthritis!

Help me give my students the tools they need to compete in their future robotics careers. Our robotics class is converting to new kits and we need a Dremel and hand tools to make the most of it.

My Students

Our robotics students come from 9th through 12th grades. We build, code and compete in classroom competitions using the VEX robotics platform.

Each class has about 20 students in it who share tools and building materials.

Our very small classroom and limited supplies have produced amazing teams. We won both Platinum and Gold State Championships the past 2 years.

The regional area I teach in has one of the highest unemployment rates in our state, and our students are 87% free and reduced lunch. By purchasing supplies that are non-consumable, current and future robotics students will benefit.

My Project

Our robotics students toil many hours designing, building, coding and competing with their robots. Our current hand tools such as hex keys, nut drivers and wrenches have reached the end of their productive lives. We need new tools!

Struggling with old tools is giving our kids hand cramps, and our productivity is way down.

Please support our robotics class by helping purchase some new classroom tools including a Dremel so we can cut the worn of ends of our old tools and make them as functional as possible. Thanks for helping prevent my class of future engineers from getting arthritis due to their overworked hands and tools!
