My Project

Space travel is inspiring. Many of our modern technologies are a direct result of the human pursuit of space travel, and it all started with people who were inspired to learn and explore. That is what I am teaching my middle school science students.

After finishing our Astronomy unit and moving into physics, we hope to be able to culminate all their learning with an all-inclusive rocket project.

They will put their knowledge of physics, forces, and motion into use by designing, building, and launching their own personal rockets with the materials requested.

Space technology has given us many advancements that have helped our planet and the environment. Learning about other planets, atmospheres and satelites is critical to understanding our own planet and the impacts we can have on it. This project will inspire the next gernation of scientists to do just that!
