My Project

Our school community is diverse, representing a large Title I, English Language Learners, and special education population. My special education students come from varying backgrounds but are each exceptional in their own way, striving for success despite the challenges influencing their daily lives. My amazing students have varying needs, personalities, and dreams, but often struggle in class.

Can you help my awesome students find the energy to be even better and more successful?

Learning on an empty stomach is not fun. Small snacks that power the brain and come at the right time can help boost performance and focus, control hunger, and augment focus; in turn, they aid in producing the high caliber of work that I know they are capable of. Without food, it is difficult to focus and function in the classroom. The energy also keeps students awake and alert.

The tissues and hand sanitizer will help keep my students healthy and in school. They need to be present to succeed.
