My Students
Talk about energy! This Kindergarten class is the most energetic group I have ever encountered in my ten years of teaching! They are full of life and love. It is my joy and privilege to be able to learn from these children.
When given the opportunity to work together, these students shine.
I see amazing ideas come from their collaboration. They are caring and kind individuals, always looking for ways to help each other.
Technology is another strength of theirs. They are engaged and able to focus for a good length of time when using learning websites or software.
My Project
Kindergarteners NEED tissues! It is a sad reality that not all schools provide tissues. An important part of being in Kindergarten is learning how to properly care for yourself, including blowing your nose. Imagine the trial and error involved. Keeping that in mind, you can understand why any teacher will tell you that tissues are a classroom necessity.
Tissues, baby wipes and cleaning wipes are all items kept in the Sanitation Station.
After breakfast, snack, or lunch students can look in a mirror and clean themselves using the baby wipes. Cleaning wipes are a great opportunity for students to keep their work spot clean.
With a few basic needs met, our students will have the supplies they need to become more autonomous.
