Help me give my students light up sand boards. These multi sensory boards will enable my students to practice various spelling patterns and math facts in a fun way they won’t want to stop!

My Project

These multi-sensory sand boards will help my students practice their spelling patterns and learn math facts. Any time my students have something tactile that is slightly different than a traditional pen and paper they thrive! The excitement of a variety of materials to work on tasks like math and spelling patterns is really important.

Learning with their whole body helps them retain what they are learning and keep it in their long term memory.

I look forward to them using something new and creative to continue to work on their foundational skills. I have found that my students do best with tactile learning. I’m doing my best to provide that to them and would be so greatful to have these boards as a center in my rotations! While these boards will benefit all my students they will be extremely helpful especially to those student with special needs!
