Help me give my students a sand and water sensory center in our classroom! Sensory play is so important for my young hands on learners!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In order to give my children a full sensory experience I am in need of a new water table. This water table will allow my sweet four year olds get to experience water, sand and other sensory items in a contained less mess for this busy teacher environment.
Sensory experiences are very important for little learners as they learn through play.
Sand and water play can provide many benefits for children, including:
Motor skills
Actions like pouring, squirting, scrubbing, stirring, and squeezing can help children develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Sensory acknowledgement
Different textures and temperatures can help children recognize and respond to sensory changes.
Emotional development
Tactile interaction can help reduce anxiety and tension in introverted children, and help hyperactive children focus.
Creativity
Open-ended play can inspire curiosity and creativity, and support flexible thinking, resilience, and independence.
Social skills
Playing in a social setting can help children learn to be social and make friends, and expose them to problem-solving situations like sharing toys.
Language development
Children may start conversations with their peers about what they are building or ideas they have, which can provide opportunities to share new ideas and increase vocabulary.
Cognitive development
Manipulating sand and water can teach children cause and effect, and constructing objects with sand can give them a sense of accomplishment.
All donations are always so greatly appreciated by my students and I. Through giving to this project you are affording my students the opportunity to learn through sensory play!
